Alex Lynch is a graduate assistant for the College Park Scholars Arts program with an interdisciplinary artistic background. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Oboe Performance, Lynch brings a Bachelor of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music, where she was a winner of the 2018 concerto competition and performed as a soloist with the Eastman School Symphony Orchestra.

A seasoned orchestral musician, Lynch has performed with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphoria, Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, Finger Lakes Opera, York Symphony Orchestra, and the Shippensburg Festival Symphony Orchestra. Lynch also served as a faculty musician at the AIMS in Graz opera festival in 2022.

Passionate about music of all genres, Lynch has accompanied Broadway singers, films, trapeze artists, and popular musicians Celtic Woman and Ben Folds. During her time at Eastman, Lynch was an active part of the ethnomusicology department, studying the traditional music and dance of Zimbabwe.

In her free time, Lynch volunteers with organizations whose values she shares. Lynch served as a Peer Mentor at Monday Night Live!, an acting class for young adults with developmental disabilities and neurodivergent conditions, and has volunteered at several animal rescues.
