Please join Environment, Technology and Economy's virtual Academic Showcase on Wednesday, May 5, from 5:10 to 6:30 p.m., to view sophomore students' practicum poster presentations! Poster presentations will take place via Gather Town, web conferencing software that allows visitors to "walk" around a room as they might in real life.
To use Gather Town
A link will be provided on this site to join the gathering.
- Follow the steps in the Tutorial provided by Gather.town when you log on
- When you join the space, feel free to walk around. Go to the help desk for questions, the lounge for casual chat, and the poster rooms to see the Academic Showcase posters. Each student for the first half hour of the showcase will be standing at their poster to present and answer questions. During the second half hour, student presenters will also be walking around to see other posters.
- Having both your camera and microphone on is helpful.
- Student posters are split into two poster rooms at the bottom of the gathering space. As you enter the private spaces in front of a poster, you will be talking with just the people in that space.
