Application Process
Applying for Study Abroad can seem like a daunting task. The Scholars Office has put together a basic checklist for you to get started with. It is important that you conduct more thorough research about the Application Process by visiting the Study Abroad website. We recommend you set-up an appointment with a Study Abroad advisor to discuss what steps you should take next. Remember that a successful Study Abroad trip depends on how adequately you prepare yourself!
- Attend a General Advising session through the Study Abroad office.
- Conduct research about the program of your choice.
- Find out if any Study Abroad opportunities lie within your major.
- Make an appointment to speak with a financial aid office, if you choose to do so.
- Complete the Application.
- Application Form
- Letter(s) of Recommendation
- Personal Statement
- Obtain a transcript from the Mitchell Building
- List of courses, if applicable
- Application fee, if applicable
- Recent Photo, if applicable
- Obtain a passport as soon as possible.
