You have been invited to join one of the most highly regarded living-learning programs in the nation.
What is College Park Scholars? Scholars is a class of 12 interdisciplinary programs situated in one of the three, north campus residential communities. Each program is interdisciplinary, with the opportunity to build skills which are relevant to all majors and future professions, such as problem solving; teamwork; visual and oral communications; and critical thinking. Program curricula and practical experiences are designed so that students from all majors can successfully complete them. The Scholars experience spans students’ first two years, providing excellent preparation for exciting learning and professional development opportunities in their junior and senior years.
Please also visit our video page where you will learn more about the academics and community that comprises the Scholars experience.
How do invited students express their interest? To accept the invitation into Scholars, you must complete the Interest Inventory by February 14, 2014 to reserve a place in Scholars. Invited students receive a general invitation to join the College Park Scholars (Scholars) community, but because Scholars is a collection of 12 living-learning programs, we ask that you let us know of your specific Scholars program preferences. The list of Scholars programs is available here.
