Prospective Scholars
Thank you for your interest in College Park Scholars
Admission to College Park Scholars is by invitation, but we welcome inquiries about our program and the admissions process. We make decisions on applicants based on their University of Maryland application file. Students who are interested in being considered for the College Park Scholars program for the fall of 2010 entering class should apply to the University of Maryland by November 1, 2009.
If you would like to learn more about College Park Scholars in person, come visit us! We will have information sessions at every University of Maryland Visit Maryland Day. Visit Maryland Days are campus-wide informational open houses that will offer you many opportunities to learn about different campus offices and departments. At the College Park Scholars information sessions we provide an overview of the Scholars program as well as a student panel, typically consisting of current College Park Scholars and alumni. If you cannot make one of these days, we would be happy to set up an individual appointment at a time that is more convenient for you.
