Alumni Registration
Registration for the 7th Annual “Scholars in New York” experience will open in October 2009. More detailed information is available below.
Options
- Round-trip motor coach transportation between College Park, MD and New York City, NY
- Two nights accommodations at the Hilton New York in midtown Manhattan
- Ticket to a popular Broadway show for Saturday evening (shows TBA; last year's shows included: Avenue Q,The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera, and Wicked). *
- Invitation to Friday evening Happy Hour hosted by the College Park Scholars Alumni Association
- Admission to program-wide Sunday activity at the Metropolitan Museum of Art
* Please note: all participants indicating they would like to purchase a Broadway ticket will receive an email confirmation from the Scholars staff in mid-February. At that time, you will be asked to provide your top three show preferences. Based on previous trips, the demand for some Broadway shows will be greater than others. Due to the limited number of tickets acquired for each show, Scholars cannot guarantee your first choice show preference. However, at a minimum you will be guaranteed one of your top three show preferences.

Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of this event and the contracts that have already been entered into, registrations are binding and cannot be refunded once alumni have paid. Should you decide to cancel without a refund or fail to check-in the morning of the event, you will forfeit your registration fee. All cancellations must be in writing via email to cpsnyc_registration@umd.edu.
