Scholarship Information
There are a number of financial resources available to students that qualify for either need-based or merit-based aid. College Park Scholars encourages you to take advantage of as many of these opportunities. Often times, application materials for one scholarship can be used for multiple applications, thereby increasing your chances of success in seeking financial assistance.
Students who submit an application for undergraduate admission by the priority deadline of December 1st will be considered for merit scholarships. In order to be considered for need-based financial aid, a student must complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually. The FAFSA can be filed beginning on January 1st with students encouraged to submit the FAFSA no later than February 1st so the University receives your information prior to the priority deadline of February 15th. Any student, regardless of whether he or she matriculates at the University of Maryland, may complete the FAFSA.
